Sail into the warm waters of the Atlantic on board Columbus, and call at three sun-kissed Canary Isles and the glorious garden-paradise of Madeira. Relax as Columbus cruises south from London Tilbury and make the most of the excellent restaurants, bars, shops and other distractions on board. Step ashore at each new port to discover the black-sand beaches and volcanic landscape of Lanzarote, the palm-fringed squares of Vegueta, Las Palmas' old town on Gran Canaria, and the space-age curves of the seafront Auditorio in Santa Cruz de Tenerife. Explore Madeira's capital, Funchal, or experience the exhilaration of a wickerwork ’toboggan’ ride from Monte down to Livramento.
On your way to and from your island destinations you'll also have opportunities to visit Rotterdam and Gibraltar, and spend a day in Lisbon strolling along the narrow streets of the Alfama, past the extraordinary Manueline architecture of the Belem quarter and through the elegant plazas and colonnades of the Baixa.
