Historic ports & cities

This delightful two-week autumn cruise begins on a high with a day in Amsterdam, the first of eight wonderful ports you'll visit as Columbus sails from Tilbury, around the Danish coast and into the Baltic. Step ashore to see the Little Mermaid statue, world-famous Tivoli Gardens and stylish streets and stores in Copenhagen; the winding cobblestone streets, ornate towers and storybook houses of Tallinn; Helsinki's monumental neo-Classical buildings; and the parks, palaces, cobbled squares and labyrinthine old town that cover Stockholm's 14 interlinked islands.

Spend two days exploring St Petersburg's famous sights - from the Haymarket to the Hermitage, the Mariinsky Theatre and the historic Summer Palace at Petrodvorets - and perhaps take the opportunity to head inland from the German port of Warnemunde on an unforgettable optional shore excursion to Berlin.
