Wild wonders also await you from Reykjavik; the capital is your gateway to the Golden Circle where you can marvel at the natural power of the Gullfoss Waterfall and gushing Geysir hot springs. A rare visit to Heimaey, the largest of the Vestmannaeyjar Islands, affords an opportunity to discover the treasures of this volcanic gem, from its small coastal towns and villages, to coastal cliffs that are the perfect natural habitat for seabirds such as Atlantic Puffins, which nest here in large colonies during the summer.
