Island Calls & Historic Cities

Bookended with calls in the Danish ports of Kalundborg, from where you might visit capital Copenhagen, and historic Aalborg, this autumn cruise from Hull features a series of rarely visited Baltic ports. Explore two picture-book Scandinavian islands, Estonia’s stunning capital Riga, Lithuania’s Klaipéda and magnificent Polish maritime city of Gdansk.

Rest and relax aboard Astoria, as she cruise north from Hull to Warnemünde, where you'll be able to head to Rostock, seat of northern Europe’s oldest university, and join an optional shore excursion to the German capital, Berlin. Two idyllic isles – Danish Bornholm and Swedish Gotland – are followed by calls in Riga, a town of Art Nouveau treasures with a UNESCO-listed "Quiet Centre", and Klaipéda. Gdansk, on its beautiful bay and with its lovingly restored medieval core, and Jutland’s Aalborg, with its old town and castle, are your final stops before Astoria returns to Hull.
