Canada:

 

Travelling out: PCR test taken no more than 72 hours before departure. 

Returning home: Lateral flow test taken before the end of day two (day 0 is the day you return).

Costa Rica:

 

Travelling out: Proof of vaccination status 

Returning home: Lateral flow test taken before the end of day two (day 0 is the day you return).

Cyprus: 

 

Travelling out: Proof of vaccination status and a PCR test taken no more than 48 hours before departure. Travellers aged 12 and above must also take a PCR test upon arrival at the airport in Cyprus and self-isolate in their accommodation until they get a negative result. UK passengers will also be given five self-tests that must be used daily. Provided these are all negative, another rapid test must then be carried out at a mobile unit of the Ministry of Health. This test is free on presentation of a boarding pass.

Returning home: Lateral flow test taken before the end of day two (day 0 is the day you return).

Czech Republic:

 

Travelling out: Proof of vaccination status and a PCR test taken no more than 48 hours before departure or a lateral flow test taken no more than 24 hours before departure, unless you have received a booster vaccination (third dose). If you have had two doses but no booster, you'll still need a PCR or lateral flow test. 

Returning home: Lateral flow test taken before the end of day two (day 0 is the day you return).

France:

 

Travelling out: Proof of vaccination status and a PCR or lateral flow test taken no more than 24 hours before departure.

Germany:

 

Tourists are currently not allowed to travel to Germany.

Travelling out: Proof of vaccination status and a PCR test taken no more than 48 hours before departure.

Hungary:

 

Travelling out: Proof of vaccination status

Returning home: Lateral flow test taken before the end of day two (day 0 is the day you return).

Iceland:

 

Travelling out: Proof of vaccination status and a PCR or lateral flow test taken no more than 72 hours before departure.

Returning home: Lateral flow test taken before the end of day two (day 0 is the day you return).

India:

 

Travelling out: Proof of vaccination status and a PCR test taken no more than 72 hours before departure. Upon arrival at the airport, submit a self-paid PCR or lateral flow test and wait for test results before leaving the airport or taking a connecting flight. If the test is negative, you'll be required to home quarantine for seven days. A further PCR or lateral flow test is required on the 8th day of arrival. If the 8th-day test is negative, you should self-monitor your health for the next seven days. Any travellers testing positive for Covid-19 will have to undergo treatment and further monitoring at a separate isolation facility.

Italy:

 

Travelling out: Proof of vaccination status and a PCR test taken no more than 48 hours before departure or a lateral flow test taken no more than 24 hours before departure.

Kenya:

 

Travelling out: Proof of vaccination status and a PCR test taken no more than 72 hours before departure. A random lateral flow test may be taken by port health officers on entry, depending on the risk evaluation of the country of origin. Any person from the UK who tests positive will be directed to isolate in a Ministry of Health designated facility for ten days, at their own cost. 

Returning home: Lateral flow test taken before the end of day two (day 0 is the day you return).

Latvia:

 

Travelling out: Proof of vaccination status and a PCR test taken no more than 72 hours before departure or a lateral flow test taken no more than 48 hours before departure. 

Returning home: Lateral flow test taken before the end of day two (day 0 is the day you return).

Malta:

 

Travelling out: Proof of vaccination status

Returning home: Lateral flow test taken before the end of day two (day 0 is the day you return).

Netherlands:

 

Travelling out: Proof of vaccination status and a lateral flow test taken no more than 24 hours before departure or a PCR test taken no more than 48 hours before departure. Ten days of home quarantine upon arrival. This period can be reduced to five days if you receive a negative test result from the Dutch authorities on day five.

Returning home: Lateral flow test taken before the end of day two (day 0 is the day you return).

Northern Cyprus:

 

Travelling out: PCR test taken no more than 72 hours before arrival into Northern Cyprus (proof of vaccination status required for double vaccinated passengers arriving into Southern Cyprus). PCR test taken to enter Southern Cyprus from Northern Cyprus (our local agent can arrange this in resort).

Returning home: Lateral flow test taken before the end of day two (day 0 is the day you return).

Norway:

 

Travelling out: PCR or lateral flow test taken no more than 24 hours before departure. Upon arrival, you must take a PCR or lateral flow test at the border crossing point. If there is no test centre at the border, the test centre is closed, or the authorities have given instructions not to take the test at the border crossing point, you're under an obligation to get tested at a different test centre or to take a self-test within 24 hours of arrival.

Returning home: Lateral flow test taken before the end of day two (day 0 is the day you return).

Poland:

 

Travelling out: Proof of vaccination status and a PCR or lateral flow test taken no more than 24 hours before departure. You may be able to do the test at some airports on arrival no later than three hours after your arrival.

Portugal:

 

Travelling out: Proof of vaccination status and a lateral flow test taken no more than 48 hours before departure or a PCR test taken no more than 72 hours before departure.

Travelling out: Proof of vaccination status and a lateral flow test taken no more than 48 hours before departure or a PCR test taken no more than 72 hours before departure.  

Returning home: No-travel related testing required.

Travelling out: Proof of vaccination status and a PCR test taken no more than 73 hours before departure. 

Returning home: Lateral flow test taken before the end of day two (day 0 is the day you return).

Spain:

 

Travelling out: Proof of vaccination status

Sri Lanka:

 

Travelling out: Proof of vaccination status and a PCR test taken no more than 72 hours before departure. 

Returning home: Lateral flow test taken before the end of day two (day 0 is the day you return).

Sweden

 

Travelling out: Proof of vaccination status for all adults over 18 and a PCR or lateral flow test taken no more than 48 hours before departure (unless you have proof that you received your second vaccine dose more than two weeks before you arrive). Please note, Newmarket Holidays also requires 8-17-year-olds to either show proof of vaccination or, if that is not possible, proof of a negative lateral flow test, taken within 48 hours of departure. Children seven and under don't require testing.

Switzerland:

 

Travelling out: Proof of vaccination status. You're eligible to enter Switzerland for any travel purpose if you're fully vaccinated and have a negative PCR test (not older than 72 hours or lateral flow test (not older than 24 hours) upon boarding.
