Retail Travel Trade Support Executive

Full-time, 37.5 hours per week

The role

We are looking for a Retail Travel Trade Support Executive to join our very busy Sales team and work alongside our Trade team and on the road Account Managers who are highly customer focused. This role is an integral part of the Sales Team and is front facing - liaising daily with internal Sales, Marketing, E-Commerce and Sales/Customer Service team members, as well as our external partners.

What I do

  • Liaising with our high street retail branch partners
  • Providing administrative support for management, account managers and being the point of contact for all Newmarket partnerships – primarily retail, but also newspapers, magazines and online
  • Making outbound calls to retail partnerships as directed by the Head of Retail
  • Answering incoming calls from our partners & deal with the matters arising
  • Checking supplements, mailers and any marketing initiatives and campaigns, particularly in ensuring accuracy in the detail and final sign off
  • Undertaking weekly and monthly client booking updates and reports
  • Assisting the team when required with the checking and reporting of regional & national press ads that are scheduled to appear in papers
  • Cross-team duties in peak workload periods

  • Attention to detail
  • Experience in leisure/tourism would be a bonus but not essential
