The role

This role will play an integral part in supporting the Digital Marketing Manager in implementing the Digital Content Strategy for the business. Working closely with key stakeholders in the Ecommerce, Marketing and Product teams, you will produce compelling, on-brand website and Social Media content that engages and influences our audience at every stage of their booking journey.

What I do

  • Create high quality, compelling and engaging content across online channels, including website, blogs and social media channels
  • Ensuring that the tone, quality and consistency of all copy adheres to the standard set by the Lead Marketing Copywriter
  • Create and manage content calendars containing recommendations for new evergreen and topical content, as well as improvements for existing content
  • On page optimisation for a variety of content types including products and landing pages, according to SEO principles
  • Loading and publishing content via the Content Management System
  • Assist with keyword research, trend and competitor analysis to identify opportunities and areas for organic growth

Who I am

  • An experienced writer with good experience creating engaging content for website landing pages and Social Media channels
  • Educated to degree level in English or a communications-related discipline or with a demonstrable command of the English language
  • Thorough understanding of tone of voice
  • Good SEO experience with an understanding of content marketing techniques
  • Confident with thorough keyword research and monitoring keyword performance
  • Experience of using a CMS to create and launch content
  • Experience getting hands-on with websites to make changes such as editing copy and uploading meta data
  • Working knowledge of Google Analytics
  • Ability to juggle multiple priorities and meet deadlines
  • Organised and a multi-tasker
