Belgium Holiday Itinerary

Day One: Travel to Belgium

This morning, join our coach at your chosen pick-up point and travel to Dover for the Channel crossing. We'll then continue to our hotel in Antwerp, arriving by the early evening.

Day Two: See the sights of Bruges

Soak up the allure and charm of picturesque Bruges, today. This UNESCO-listed city has plenty of delights to be discovered, including the exquisite Beguinage convent, the Church of our Lady and tranquil 'Lake of Love'. Take a horse-drawn carriage ride along the cobbled streets, or climb the 366 steps of the Belfry for a spectacular panoramic view. You'll also have the chance to join an optional canal cruise along the maze of narrow waterways that weave through the city's old town.

Enjoy an early evening meal (payable locally) before we return to the hotel.

Day Three: Explore Antwerp

Today we make the short transfer into Antwerp to explore the sights scattering its famous cobbled streets. Why not visit one of the city's many museums or explore the Grote Markt, the city's medieval centre lined with pretty guild houses? And be sure to take the time to marvel at the Cathedral of Our Lady - a landmark that took nearly 170 years to build, and to enjoy an early evening meal (payable locally), before we head back to the hotel.

Day Four: Discover Ghent

Unveil the charms of Ghent on our final day of exploring. Take a stroll past the row of traditional gabled guild houses along the Graslei, Ghent's attractive quayside, enjoy the stunning views from St Michael's Bridge as you cross the river Lys, or opt to join our 40-minute canal cruise for some leisurely sightseeing. Allow some time to visit St Bavo's Cathedral to see The Adoration of the Mystic Lamb - a complex masterpiece created by the Van Eyck brothers in the 15th Century.

Enjoy an early dinner (payable locally) before we return to the hotel in the early evening.

Day Five: Travel back to the UK

After breakfast, board the coach for the journey back to the UK. We should arrive back in your local area during the mid-to-late evening.
