Itinerary

Day One

Leaving your pick-up point in the early morning we'll travel to the London area and our overnight hotel. After check-in, we'll head to the Royal Albert Hall for the highlight of your break: Classic Carols at the Royal Albert Hall with Alan Titchmarsh.

The concert programme has yet to be finalised, but last year it included classics such as 'Merry Christmas, Merry Christmas', 'Masters in this Hall' and 'Sussex Carol', while the evening's Carols For All song-sheet featured such festive favourites as 'O Little Town Of Bethlehem', 'Good King Wenceslas', 'Once In Royal David's City' and 'God Rest Ye Merry, Gentlemen'.

After a delightful evening, the coach will be waiting to return you to your hotel.

Day Two

After breakfast, this morning, we'll head to Windsor. Spend your time in this pretty, riverside town doing some Christmas shopping or perhaps join our optional excursion and visit Windsor Castle. See the magnificent State Apartments as the Castle recreates a Regency Christmas complete with beautifully decorated trees and a themed display showing how the Prince Regent (the future George IV) celebrated Christmas the early 19th Century.

We'll leave Windsor in the mid-afternoon, and should arrive back at your pick-up point in the mid-to-late evening.

Everything went well. Our tour manager was friendly and helpful. The Albert Hall concert was very good, as was the visit to Windsor Castle. Coaches were comfortable and the drivers good.

The trip to Albert hall was wonderful but when we were picked up in Burton the connecting driver can only be explained as a complete Looney on the trip to Warwick services he frightened the life out of us with his driving and we ended up on the north bound services to go south so we then had to join motorway and turnabout to get to the correct service's when we got there he told us he would be picking us up return journey he was still a Looney someone who got off before us said they had never been so please to get off a coach. Other driver was wonderful nothing but praise for him.

Albert Hall and show amazing. Optional excursion to Windsor Castle decorated for Christmas fabulous. The only disappointment is that we did not have enough time to look around Windsor as well s the castle, we came out of the castle at 1.40 p.m. and had to be back at the coach for 2.00 p.m. Had the coach been filled with people from South Wales only, I am sure we would have had longer in Windsor but because we had people from the West Country who had further to travel and a coach to collect them was waiting at Leigh Delamare Services to transfer them to their onward location, we were a little disappointed.

The coach trip was far to long picking up all over, it was 1 1/2 hrs before we had left Norfolk. After that all went well.
The concert was magic, our seats were to the side which didn't really matter as it was singing to an orchestra.
The hotel was clean, everything worked, breakfast also good.
Trip home, repeat of my first comment!
