Discover life on board Astoria
There's far more to life on board Astoria than we could possibly fit on one page. Click here to find out more about her fantastic facilities and welcoming atmosphere.
Join Astoria in Portsmouth ahead of her sailing this afternoon.
Astoria's first call is the Dutch maritime city of Rotterdam. See the progressive architecture of Erasmus Bridge and the dazzling Markthal food market, explore the world-class museums and the lovingly preserved Old Harbour, or visit the borough of Delfshaven to take a stroll past its step-gabled houses and ancient wharves.
Today is spent at sea, as Astoria cruises towards Germany.
Enjoy a leisurely morning as Astoria cruises into the mouth of the River Elbe to dock in the great German port-city of Hamburg. Choose to step ashore to discover the atmosphere of the city's vibrant neighbourhoods, or simply enjoy an evening on board before Astoria sets sail late tonight.
Relax as Astoria spends a day sailing through the Kiel Canal. This quiet waterway serves as a shortcut between the North Sea and the Baltic, saving over 250 miles of extra sailing around the coast of Denmark.
Trendy Copenhagen, with its bicycle-packed streets and laid-back cafe culture, is today's destination. See famous Tivoli Gardens (entrance payable locally) or join an optional shore excursion to discover the iconic Little Mermaid, the Royal Palace and the plush stores that line the Stroget - the city's elegant shopping street.
Today Astoria calls in Aalborg, a Danish port city set next to the narrowest point of the Limfjord. Explore the 17th-century castle and painted buildings in the charming old town, visit the distillery and museum to sample Aquavit, a Scandinavian spirit, or join an optional excursion to the Viking burial site at Lindholm Hoje.
Astoria crosses into Norwegian waters to call at Kristiansand, on the country's southern coast. Kristiansand is recognised for its glorious white sand beaches and Palmesus beach festival, its flourishing creative arts scene, and as the home of Norway's largest zoo.
Enjoy a final day at sea as Astoria begins her return journey to the UK.
Astoria arrives back in Portsmouth in the early afternoon, where you'll disembark at the end of a wonderful cruise.
British Citizens will need a full, 10-year passport to travel on this cruise. Since some countries require visitors to be valid for at least six months after the return date of the cruise we recommend that all customers ensure that this is the case. Holders of non-British passports should check with the relevant embassies to see if any requirements and restrictions exist for any countries visited during the cruise.
