Mini-cruise and Northumbria Tour Itinerary
Leaving your pick-up point very early this morning, we'll travel to London Tilbury, where Magellan is docked ready to set sail at 3:00pm. As you skirt the coast you'll have time to meet your fellow passengers, and enjoy the ship's fine facilities, first-class entertainment programme and excellent five-course dining.
Day One: Travel to Tilbury and board Magellan
After breakfast on board, disembark the ship in Newcastle, meet your Tour Manager and board the coach to Durham. Spend the day exploring this beautiful city, where a Norman castle and a magnificent cathedral overlook the pretty, winding streets.
Day Two: Disembark in Newcastle and explore Durham
After some time to explore, we'll continue to your hotel, arriving in time for dinner.
Today we head to Lindisfarne, one of the cradles of early British Christianity and only accessible, to cars and coaches, across the narrow causeway at low tide. We'll also stop in Bamburgh, where the great sandstone castle looks out towards the Farne Islands, before we return to the hotel for dinner.
Day Three: Visit Lindisfarne and Bamburgh
After breakfast, re-board the coach and travel home.
Day Four: Travel home
A valid passport is needed for this holiday, and you will need to have it with you in order to board Magellan.
