Day One

Fly into Dubrovnik and meet your Tour Manager. A coach will be waiting to carry you from the airport to your hotel - the Bluesun Alga - in Tucepi, about four kilometres south of the seaside village of Markaska.

Day Two

Today you're free to relax on the beach or by the pool, make the most of the hotel's facilities or gently explore your surroundings. Tucepi's gardens, and its bars, cafes and tavernas are close to hand, and the livelier streets of Markaska are just a short drive away.

Day Three

After a coach trip along the coast, today we'll cross from Orebic to Korcula. Discover the fortifications, narrow streets and long history of the island's main town on a guided tour, which also includes entry to the beautiful cathedral, then simply relax and let local life flow about you until we return to Tucepi in the late afternoon.

Day Four

Take a boat trip through the waterfalls, lakes and forested valleys of Krka National Park on today's optional excursion, floating gently upriver from the pretty harbour town of Skradin to the foot of the tumbling cascade at Skradinski.

Day Five

Step back into history on today's included tour. Discover the ruined remains of Diocletian's imperial palace in Split, and explore the labyrinth of narrow streets and hidden courtyards that shelter behind the ancient walls of the island-town of Trogir.

Day Six

Spend today relaxing on the beach or in your hotel.

Day Seven

Set sail into the blue waters of the Adriatic, today, as our final included excursion reveals the stunning beaches of Brac, Croatia's third largest island, and the vineyards and lavender fields of rocky Hvar. Your captain will host a traditional picnic lunch of fish aboard your boat.

Day Eight

Say good by to the hotel and its staff this morning as we return to Dubrovnik airport to catch your flight home.

Bluesun Hotel Alga ★★★★

This well-appointed hotel, in the heart of the Makarska Riviera, sits above a beautiful white-pebble beach shaded by pine trees and looking out over the waters to the islands of Brac and Hvar.

A revised later afternoon flight with easyJet following the demise of Monarch was speedily arranged by the office. However, the delayed bumpy landing and late arrival at Dubrovnic with a 3hr coach journey and hold up at the Bosnian border meant arrival at the hotel well after midnight. The missed dinner and meager food on arrival was unsatisfactory. Later down to breakfast the following morning resulted in missed coffee and choice of food as all was cleared away rapidly before 10am closing. Hotel well-located on water front, but room location disappointing as it was hemmed-in with limited view and one of a few without a usable balcony.
Otherwise tour manager very helpful and all tours thoroughly enjoyable.

Newmarket paced the week well, with varied trips on alternate days.

I don't know if we missed something in the brochure, but we would have liked the option of a room upgrade.

Your local Rep, Marina, really made a difference to the success and enjoyment of the holiday.

Romford Couple
Evening entertainment in hotel poor. One evening consisted of girl with a laptop who did not speak at all.
Also measures of drinks in the hotel were very small. The smallest we have had anywhere.
Hotel room good but window small and put in the corner therefore we could not see out.
However hotel well kept and maintained. Large pool area with enough loungers.
3 hour transfer from airport in an uncomfortable mini bus.

I missed out on my fantastic optional tour as I wasn’t up to it that day. However my friend showed me her photos of the water falls in this National Park, absolutely beautiful and I would say not to be missed.

We were blessed with good weather so all trips were successful though a trifle too long a day.
I loved the boat trip to Hvar and Bols.

Our guide Marina was excellent also our driver Mario was a good driver giving us smooth rides.

Hotel was clean, especially the bed linen with comfy beds

Croatia is beautiful and we were very lucky with the weather. The included excursions were great, especially Split. The pitch was just right with free time in between and a nice relaxing boat trip on the last day. The hotel was slightly disappointing and did not live up to the 4 star rating, especially the food. The rooms were adequate but very clean. We had double rooms with single occupancy but would not have liked to have shared as they were quite small. The tour guide was excellent with lots of local knowledge.
