We both enjoyed the cruise very much and appreciated the buffett arrangments if you didn't want more formal dining.

Astoria is showing her age as regards on board noise. We found that our beds vibrated when at sea which others commented on as well. However, being used to ship board background noise from a previous life we didn't let it put us off.

This was our first cruise and we weren't disappointed, because the ship was small (550 passengers) we found it very friendly and the staff were professional and friendly.
We would highly recommend the ship and the Cruise company. If we decided to go on another cruise we would be happy to use this company again.

Wonderful scenery, though very chilly in April. The stop at Rotterdam, and chance to see the Keukenhof Gardens, was a bonus. Service on board the Astoria was excellent, the food good and the cabin comfortable, if a little cramped. The only thing that spoiled it for me was that the North Sea crossing, and even the route between fjords, was very rough and I am not a good sailor.
