Further Information

Appropriate clothing

Please note that Countryfile Live will take place on open parkland. Some temporary trackway is laid, but we advise suitable clothing and footwear, especially in the event of inclement weather.

Coach seating arrangements

Your seats on the main coach will be allocated for you in advance, taking into consideration any special requests wherever possible. Your Tour Manager or driver will advise you where to sit as you board the coach. This will be your seat for the duration of the tour. (Seats are not allocated on any connecting services to and from the main coach.)

Joining your holiday

Your final travel documents, including the exact time and place of departure, will be sent to you approximately 10 days prior to departure, providing all payments have been made. We are unable to give exact departure times before this.

Meal arrangements

Where meals are not included, your Tour Manager will ensure there are suitable stops made for you to purchase and enjoy lunch and/or dinner each day.

Triple rooms

The majority of these consist of a double bed and an extra bed that is often only suitable for children. If this is a concern, you may wish to consider booking more than one room for your group.

Disabled access

The majority of our tours involve a certain amount of walking, including a short walk from the coach stop to the town, attraction or venue you're visiting. If you are bringing a wheelchair, please let us know at the time of booking so that appropriate arrangements can be made.

Special requirements

If you have notified us of any special requirements, please check that they have been noted and acknowledged. This is especially important with any dietary needs you may have.

Worthing Couple
The coach had no functioning air conditioning. On the return journey the luggage compartment door kept opening requiring frequent stops and 'phone calls. The food, for which one had to queue, was of mediocre quality. bowls were always wet and cups dirty (one man drank his coffee from a soup bowl as all the cups had brown stains). As a result of the three weddings held whilst we were there, children were running up and down the passageways with parents shouting at them, thus keeping guests awake (breakfast was at 7.30 a.m. with the coach leaving at 8.00 a.m.) The hotel was to distant from the venue resulting in a two hour drive each way. However, purely on a personal note, our boarding point was changed from a few hundred yards from home (the main reason for choosing your company)to 12 miles away. Owing to a combination of unreliable and intermittent public transport we were forced to use taxis at a cost of £60. for which I was informed that I would be recompensed £15 towards this cost which I have not yet received.

Norwich Couple
Mini bus taking us to Cambridge and back was very old could not turn the heating off driver did not know how on the way out. Did not see why there was a tour manager on board has she did not do anything it states in your information that seats would be allotted on the main coach she said sit were you like, this caused a lot of ill feeling to people who got on the coach last and myself had to make like the Germans to leave something on the seat to make sure we had the same seats through out the weekend

Felixstowe Couple
This was our first coach trip and it took a little while to get used to having time frames decided for us. The hotel struggled to accommodate 2 coaches at once and the evening meals were average at best. Being a weekend, breakfast did not start until 8am and we had to be on the coach for an 8:45am departure. All a bit rushed.

Stafford Couple
Countryfile live and Stratford were both great excursions. The hotel was not of a good standard however - mould and damp in the room and bathroom and they could both have been much cleaner. The spa and pool area greatly needed an update with more damp and parts of the ceiling coming down. However, the chef who was manning the carvery was extremely good.
The tour manager hadn't got full information for some parts of the trip, for example where to park when we got into Blenheim, and seemed a little disorganised at times, though she was polite.

Poor tour manager. Hotel too far from event. Coach had ineffectual air conditioning and external panels that persistently came loose during the return journey.
