Full Itinerary

Day One

Board Magellan in Tilbury today, and settle in to your cabin as she prepares to set sail.

Day Two

Spend today relaxing, and getting to know the ship, her crew and your fellow passengers.

Day Three

The former fishing capital of Stavanger greets Magellan today. Step ashore to wander through harbour-side Torget, and this afternoon enjoy the breathtaking passage though Lysefjord.

Day Four

The remote village of Flam is set in one of Sognefjord's most remote corners. From here, you might enjoy an unforgettable excursion, boarding the world-famous Flamsbana Mountain Railway, for the beautiful journey to Myrdal, before joining a coach to travel through yet more breathtaking scenery.

Day Five

Exquisite Geirangerfjord is one of the smallest but most beautiful fjords, its twists and turns marked by crashing waterfalls and ancient and beguiling villages such as Hellesylt and Geiranger. Disembark in Geiranger to take in the beauty of it all, or to enjoy an excursion into the interior.

Day Six

Magellan cruises into beautiful Romsdalsfjord and Andalsnes, today. From here, there's the opportunity to enjoy an excursion through some of Norway's most spectacular mountain scenery, and perhaps a chance to visit the famous wooden Rodven stave church in its dreamy setting beside the fjord.

Day Seven

This morning Magellan docks in Bergen. This ancient Hanseatic city of cobbled streets and medieval houses was the birthplace of composer Edvard Grieg. Visit the vibrant harbour and fish market, stroll past the wooden warehouses of Bryggen and take the Floibanen funicular to the summit of 'Mount' Floyen.

Day Eight

A final day is spent at sea, no doubt reliving the memories your cruise holiday as Magellan heads for home.

Day Nine

Bid farewell to Magellan and all your fellow travellers, today, as you disembark at the end of your cruise.

Loughborough Couple
After looking forward to the Norwiegan Fjords for some years although they didn't disappoint we felt the conveyance did. We experienced persistent engine noise in the cabin requiring ear plugs to sleep and overall the ship seemed tired and need of an overall.
Little in the way of on board activities for the days at sea to relieve the boredom.
