Itinerary

Day One

Fly to Malaga, meet your Tour Manager at the airport, and board our coach for the transfer into the Andalusian hills to your hotel.

Day Two (Christmas Eve)

On today's included excursion you'll journey to Seville, the home of flamenco and the magical setting for Bizet's 'Carmen'. Enjoy a short introductory tour, then wander the narrow streets of the atmospheric Old Quarter, relax in the beautiful Plaza de Espana with its fountains, and visit the famous Plaza de Toros bullring.

The city's shops will be open for last-minute festive shopping should you need to find a final gift before you return to the hotel to begin your celebrations.

Day Three (Christmas Day)

Spend Christmas Day celebrating at your hotel, perhaps making use of the indoor swimming pool and spa (payable locally) before you sit down for a three-course Christmas lunch with drinks.

Day Four (Boxing Day)

Today's included visit takes us to Granada. Your first stop will be the spectacular Alhambra palace, where you'll have time to marvel at the beautiful tiled mosaics, intricate towers and minarets, and world-renowned formal gardens. You'll then have the afternoon to explore the rest of the city, which sits beneath the snow-capped Sierra Nevada mountains.

Day Five

Relax on your final day at the hotel, or join our optional excursion to Cordoba, the former Roman and Moorish capital of Spain. Here you'll discover the breathtaking Mezquita, the vast Mosque into which the Christian cathedral has been incorporated, and which reflects Cordoba's position as the greatest Moorish city in Europe.

Later, enjoy a last dinner at the hotel.

Day Six

Say goodbye to your hotel and your hosts, and transfer back to the airport to board your flight home.

We loved it all.
Everything went smoothly, our room in the hotel was spacious, the buffet offered a large choice of options, and the three trips we did were fantastic.
To top it all, we had sunshine every day

It may have been the fantastic weather with 18c and cloudless skies every day, but no, that was just a bonus.
The Christmas break was all we wanted it to be.
No turkey and tinsel but good food, adult company and very interesting excursions .
Drinks prices in the hotel very reasonable good room and friendly staff.
Free wine and water with dinner an unexpected bonus, even though the dinning room was a little cramped. All meals were buffet service with good standard of food.

Hotel slightly dated in decor and in lighting , otherwise clean and service good. Staff very friendly and helpful.

Plates for hot food should have been heated and hot food hotter. Coffee / tea machine needs to be updated because it caused long queues.

All excursions excellent with plenty of time for sight seeing. all tour guides extremely good.

Excellent holiday with one major mishap.
On one of the excursion two people did not return to the coach at the appointed time. With the result that the 25 or so people on the bus sat for 90mins while the tour operator tried to decide what to do. It seems amazing that there was no apparent preexisting plan of what to do in such a circumstance. The two tour guides seemed at a loss on how to proceed.
It did not help the the two people who failed to turn up had taken a110euro taxi back to the hotel and did not feel fit to tell anyone . There subsequent failure to apologise to the people stuck on the bus led to some very angry people including me!
