Day One

Fly to Malaga, meet your Tour Manager at the airport, and board our coach for the transfer into the Andalusian hills to your hotel.

Day Two (Christmas Eve)

On today's included excursion you'll journey to Seville, the home of flamenco and the magical setting for Bizet's 'Carmen'. Enjoy a short introductory tour, then wander the narrow streets of the atmospheric Old Quarter, relax in the beautiful Plaza de Espana with its fountains, and visit the famous Plaza de Toros bullring.

The city's shops will be open for last-minute festive shopping should you need to find a final gift before you return to the hotel to begin your celebrations.

Day Three (Christmas Day)

Spend Christmas Day celebrating at your hotel, perhaps making use of the indoor swimming pool and spa (payable locally) before you sit down for a three-course Christmas lunch with drinks.

Day Four (Boxing Day)

Today's included visit takes us to Granada. Your first stop will be the spectacular Alhambra palace, where you'll have time to marvel at the beautiful tiled mosaics, intricate towers and minarets, and world-renowned formal gardens. You'll then have the afternoon to explore the rest of the city, which sits beneath the snow-capped Sierra Nevada mountains.

Day Five

Relax on your final day at the hotel, or join our optional excursion to Cordoba, the former Roman and Moorish capital of Spain. Here you'll discover the breathtaking Mezquita, the vast Mosque into which the Christian cathedral has been incorporated, and which reflects Cordoba's position as the greatest Moorish city in Europe.

Later, enjoy a last dinner at the hotel.

Day Six

Say goodbye to your hotel and your hosts, and transfer back to the airport to board your flight home.

Hotel Antequera ★★★★

Ideal for those looking for extra amenities and a good location, this hotel is found within walking distance of the centre of Antequera. It offers excellent facilities and high standards of accommodation.

Further Information

Hotel transfer times

The transfer time from the airport to your hotel is approximately one hour.

Combining hotel transfers

We sometimes need to combine transfers to and from your hotel. We always try to keep any wait to a minimum, but you may be asked to wait at the airport for up to an hour, while other incoming flights arrive, before the transfer to your hotel. Similarly, we may need to transfer you back to the airport up to three hours before your flight home departs.

European Christmas closing times

Shops in Europe will generally be closed from early afternoon on Christmas Eve until 27th December.

Special requirements

If you have notified us of any special requirements, please check that they have been noted and acknowledged. This is especially important with any dietary needs you may have.

Itinerary changes

Occasionally, for operational reasons, we may have to change the order of the excursions on your holiday. The final day-by-day itinerary will be confirmed on your Final Travel Documents, which you will receive approximately three weeks prior to your departure.

Cordoba is more interesting than Seville, itinerary would have been improved if cordoba was included rather as an option.

Nice to get away to warm temperatures and blue skies. Hotel and Staff very good, coaches, drivers and trips also good. Tour Manager not fit or capable enough to do the job. She was not good with people and the Airport pick up and departure was a shambles.

southend on sea Couple
It would have been better if we could have flown locally from Southend. Our flight was changed from Easyjet to Ryanair - it would have been better with Easyjet.

Hotel was good and food excellent lots of choices. However, no entertainment as such in the evening. There was not a lot locally to walk to.

Trips were excellent.

We loved it all.
Everything went smoothly, our room in the hotel was spacious, the buffet offered a large choice of options, and the three trips we did were fantastic.
To top it all, we had sunshine every day
