Itinerary

Day One

Leaving the local area, in the morning we'll journey to our hotel. After check-in you'll have time to unpack and relax before we make our way to Wembley Arena for the highlight of our break - the afternoon performance by The Spanish Riding School of Vienna.

Described as "emotionally charged equine ballet", the show is a marvel of beautiful horses, elegant riders and precise manouevres such as graceful Pas de Deux and the spectacular Levades and Caprioles. Fascinating commentary from TV presenter and British Dressage Ambassador Nicki Chapman, live orchestral music and a cast of supporting dancers add to this unforgettable spectacle.

Day Two

After a leisurely breakfast you'll leave your hotel and head to central London. See the sites, take a stroll along the Embankment, or perhaps head to Knightsbridge, Oxford Street or High Street Kensington for some early Christmas shopping.

In the afternoon we'll head for home, arriving back in the local area by mid to late evening.

Very good trip except for the distance out of London to return the next day.
Also we where told we were going to the Hotel before the event.
All in all a great trip and would recommend the company but upfront information regarding where you stay would be appreciated.

Lovely show and hotel. Our tour manager was not very good , treated us all like children. She left a lady in Wimborne, a taxi had to come and meet us in Christchurch, would have been much better for the coach to have gone to ringwood and picked Miss Wait up there it would have been much quicker, instead we had to wait in Christchurch for over half a hour, then the driver went the forest way which took even longer, we only just got to show in time. The tour manager when we did pick up Miss Wait Jane only had to say sorry but no she wouldn't, which spoiled Miss Waits whole weekend. Jane had told us she was sure six people got on in Wimborne. Jane was not good the whole weekend really think it's time she retired. The driver was not much better,on the way home as we left fleet a old lady had dropped her bags and driver drove away with the lady still stood up and trying to pick her bags up also he made us all get our bags down while moving before he dropped us off, must drivers don't like you to stand up while they are moving, I really wouldn't what to go on another one of yor trips with Jane or Gary. But do have to say the show was lovely also top hotel very, very clean and very good food. There were a lot of other little things with Jane. Mrs S Bailey P.S I have never had anything like this on any of other trips I have had with you, always been very happy before.

Cambridge to London in 4 hours!!! Not being told about travel arrangements until the 11th hour, unacceptable. Being left standing in the cold for half-an-hour+ waiting for feeder transport, unacceptable. Being rudely advised by driver traffic was bad (Sunday) when it became apparent other fares were carried out prior to pick-up, unacceptable. Being taken to meet main coach in a rattling cab not suited to an hour+ journey with the driver seemingly speeding to make up time, unacceptable. Being berated by rude cab driver on meeting up with main coach, unacceptable. Not having any comfort breaks during the entire 4 hour journey there, unacceptable. After Main Event, being taken to a Hotel (hour+) at Heathrow's Terminal 5 promoted as a night in a London Hotel, unacceptable. Being driven to Covent Garden next day (hour+) promoted as shopping in London, unacceptable. The thought of the same return trip, definitely unacceptable. Left main coach at Covent Garden having advised tour manager, went shopping in Oxford Street and came home on the train in under 2 hours, acceptable!

TANIA

Once in a lifetime experience. Good trip, comfortable hotel. Didn't really need the London tour as you couldn't see much. Would be better spent as either more time shopping or a slightly earlier return, as traffic makes a half-hour tour a lot longer.

I enjoyed the show the hotel and the short tour of London. The stop for shopping was for a good amount of time, I,m not a gt shopper so I used the time to go to a museum. The only way that this could have been improved if we had a bit more time at Wembley after the Show we could have had a meal at one of the nice restaurant but we were asked to board the coach strait after the show to head back to the Hotel, we could eat there and the food was fine but we could have eaten some ware really nice and let the traffic clear.

There was one thing that is out of control for Newmarket holidays and that was the heavy traffic in London. The trip home seamed to take so long and I was to transfer to a feeder taxi, I did not feel that I could relax.
