Itinerary

Day One

Leaving your local area by coach, early this morning, we'll travel to the port for our Channel crossing and continue to our hotel in the Greater Paris area, stopping en route for the chance to have an early evening meal (payable locally).

Day Two (New Year's Eve)

After a leisurely breakfast, we'll head into central Paris by coach to enjoy an included introductory tour of the city's world-famous sights, including the Eiffel Tower, the Arc de Triomphe and the Louvre. After the tour, spend time discovering the incomparable 'City of Light' at your leisure, and perhaps join the optional Seine river boat cruise to see the landmarks of the city's heart from the comfort of a Bateau Mouche.

Later, as the atmosphere starts to build, join this evening's optional excursion to the soaring Montparnasse Tower (pre-booking essential). Ride one of the world's fastest lifts to the top floor for a sensational view of the city as it waits to welcome in the New Year, and perhaps treat yourself to a glass of champagne before joining the crowds along the Champs-Elysees. See the spectacular light show and fireworks at the Arc de Triomphe and, shortly after midnight, return to the coach to head back to your hotel.

Day Three

Spend this morning relaxing in your hotel, before re-boarding the coach to begin your journey home, arriving back in your local area by late evening.

Forest Hill Paris Meudon-Velizy Hotel ★★★★

On the outskirts of Paris, at the edge of the Meudon Forest, the four-star Forest Hill Meudon-Velizy hotel stands in a wonderful green setting a few minutes' walk from the Velizy2 shopping centre (one of the largest shopping centres in Europe). The hotel is close to the T6 Meudon la Foret stop, a 15-minute tram ride from Paris itself.
