A dream-like Italian holiday
BOOK BY 30TH NOVEMBER*
Stay on the sun-kissed shores of Lake Garda, Italy's largest and most spectacular lake. Some 50 miles long, and 11 miles across, Lake Garda's clear blue waters are backed by the wooded slopes of craggy mountains, and fringed by stylish, elegant resorts that have drawn visitors on holidays to Italy for over 100 years.
Lake Garda is the perfect location for a relaxing holiday, and each of the hotels in our elegant, stylish resorts has been selected to reveal the very best that the lake has to offer.
Your Base: Lake Garda Hotels In Limone, Malcesine, Riva del Garda Or Torbole
Named for the hillside terraces of citrus groves that surround it, Limone is a bustling resort on Lake Garda's western shore. Here, cobbled streets lead down to the lake and the lively nightlife offers a delightful counterpoint to relaxed, sunny days.
Malcesine's pretty labyrinth of narrow lanes and squares nestles on Lake Garda's north-eastern shore beneath green-sloped Mount Baldo. A cable car runs from the town to the summit, and there's also a 13th-century castle to explore.
At the northernmost tip of the Lake, Riva is one of Garda's most popular resorts. The town boasts excellent shops, cafes, bars and restaurants nestled among its pastel-painted buildings, medieval architecture and lakeside piazzas.
Riva del Garda
East of Riva, Torbole is set in a natural amphitheatre in the foothills of the Monte Baldo mountain range. The resort has a lively cafe culture and a lovely lakefront promenade. There are beautiful views out across the lake, and water sports are available for the more adventurous.
