Lower Dicker Friends
- Absolutely brilliant holiday and learnt such a lot on the way. At one time felt very sad and extremely emotional about how people live in East Belfast, with the peace wall and all it stand for. A very sad sight to see in the UK, a country that prides itself in tolerance.
Belfast is such a lovely city and the Irish people so friendly that it gives you a feeling of warmth and inclusion in everything that is happening around you. As we had to find somewhere to eat in the evenings this proved most interesting and often very entertaining as the Irish love music and eating out.
The Titanic experience is just that and certainly for me completed my long journey of visiting all the cities that the mighty ship called at before its fateful journey would have loved more time at the centre as there was so much to absorb.
We were so lucky with the weather when visiting the Giant's Causeway blue skies all the way. Very spectacular scenery and what a walk but worth every step of the way just a shame that there was a very serious incident with someone falling off the stones and suffering major injury.
Our costal trip was very informative and even managed to see Scotland on a clear day. Jackie our tour guide was excellent and certainly knew her stuff plus Charlies driving was marvellous along the very narrow and winding roads.
A holiday worth repeating.
