Single rooms are available for a supplement
Our hotels and apartments are located in two lovely resorts to the south and west of Dubrovnik.
Quiet Mlini, some 10 kilometres south of Dubrovnik, boasts bars, restaurants and a seafront promenade, and babbling brooks running past old mills, from which the village takes its name. With its small sandy beach, it is the perfect holiday hideaway. There are regular local bus connections with Dubrovnik or south to elegant Cavtat.
Sub-tropical gardens and woodland tumble down to the waterside on the beautiful Lapad peninsula, some four kilometres west of Dubrovnik. Modern developments blend with the natural surroundings to cater for every holiday pleasure, whether it's strolling in the shaded woods, relaxing on the beach or by the pool, or pursuing more energetic activities on the water.
Fly to Croatia, meet your Newmarket Tour Manager and transfer to your hotel or apartment. The transfer time to Cavtat is approximately 20 minutes, and to Dubrovnik approximately 40 minutes.
Spend today at leisure, taking advantage of your resort's amenities and exploring the beautiful surroundings.
View Dubrovnik and the Adriatic beyond from the city's impregnable walls, on today's optional excursion. You'll also discover wonders such as the medieval Old Town, busy Luza Square, impressive Sponza Palace, and the Franciscan Monastery, which houses Europe's oldest pharmacy. The afternoon is free for you to sightsee and shop at your leisure.
See the last remaining Mediterranean wetlands, on the River Neret, on today's optional full-day excursion by coach. You'll then journey into the narrowing river gorge to Bosnia-Herzegovina, and the historic Bosnian city of Mostar.
Wander Mostar's restored streets, visit the 17th-century Koski Mehmed Pasha Mosque, and perhaps purchase some local craftware from the nearby market, before returning to your resort.
Another free day to enjoy all the delights of your resort and its surroundings.
Drive south on today's full-day optional excursion and see breathtaking Montenegro before continuing to the spectacular Bay of Kotor, Southern Europe's largest fjord, and to the UNESCO World Heritage site of Kotor itself. You'll also visit Cetinje, with its monastery and Royal Palace, and one of the oldest settlements in the Adriatic, Budva.
The Elaphiti, or 'Deer Islands', are among the most beautiful on the Croatian coast. Cruise there on today's optional tour and visit tiny Kolocep, with its sandy beach, and perhaps - depending on the captain's decision - neighbouring Lopud, former watering hole of Dubrovnik's nobility. The afternoon is free for you to explore at leisure.
We leave Croatia, today, and transfer to the airport for the return flight, after a relaxing and fascinating holiday.
Fresh fish, fruit and vegetables are plentiful, as well as a Mediterranean cuisine of pasta, soups and meat-based dishes. There are many excellent, well-priced local wines to enjoy during your stay. Dubrovnik is very much a modern tourist destination, with a wide choice of international wining and dining options.
Guests on half-board arrangements will generally be offered a choice of starter and main course, with fruit or dessert to follow.
