The Newmarket Group is one of the UK's largest independently owned specialist tour operators, looking after the arrangements of tens of thousands of clients each year, to a wide range of destinations throughout the UK, across Europe and beyond. All Newmarket's departures originate in the UK.

Newmarket Promotions, the parent company, was established in 1983, and since then has grown to become a leading supplier of holidays to British newspaper readers. During the more than two decades in which Newmarket has traded, the 'Reader Holiday Industry' has grown tremendously, becoming an important sector within the organised travel market, with hundreds of thousands of people looking to their newspaper or magazine when making their holiday or short-break choices. Newmarket Promotions has been at the forefront of this growth, leading the way in terms of setting standards, best practices and innovative product creation. Newmarket Air Holidays is the company within the Newmarket Group that looks after all air-inclusive arrangements, and holds an ATOL licence, 2325, ensuring that your monies are perfectly safe when you travel with Newmarket.

Other divisions of the Newmarket Group include Newmarket Travel Service, which looks after group travel arrangements, Study Experiences, a highly specialised educational travel company offering schools and colleges curriculum-led travel arrangements, and Sport Experiences, which brings a fresh, innovative approach to the world of organised sports travel.


Newmarket employs nearly 200 people at our Worcester Park, Surrey, offices, and in addition to the ATOL licence, the Group holds membership of ABTA and IATA.
