Fly into Venice, then head to the port to board your Adriatic cruise ship, Norwegian Star. Unpack and unwind in your cabin, then head out onto the deck to watch as Norwegian Star slips away from Venice this evening.
From a distance, beautiful, walled Dubrovnik emerges from the wooded Dalmatian Coast like a floating medieval fortress. Seen up close, it's a living museum. See the Sponza Palace, St Blaise's Church, and Europe's oldest pharmacy in the city's Franciscan monastery, or take in the views across the city and the surrounding coastline from the ramparts that surround the city.
As Norwegian Star glides from the Adriatic into the Ionian Sea, you'll have time to relax on board.
Today Norwegian Star will dock in the ancient Greek port of Piraeus. Join a shore excursion into the centre of Athens, to discover the city's many iconic treasures. Atop the iconic Acropolis you'll discover the ruins of the Parthenon, the elegant Temple of Athena Nike and the mighty Erechtheion, and you'll have time to explore the city of Pericles, Socrates, Plato and Aristotle before returning to the ship.
This morning, Norwegian Star drops anchor off Santorini. The white-washed buildings and blue-domed churches of the island's main town perch precariously atop the cliff, and its rocky shoreline (the remnants of an enormous extinct volcano) is dotted with fishing villages. Stroll the cobbled streets and relax into the gentle pace of island life.
Spend today relaxing and enjoying Norwegian Star's excellent facilities as she cruises back into the Adriatic.
Our final port of call, Ravenna, is the former capital of the Western Roman Empire. The city is famed the world over for its stunning mosaics - thought to be the finest in western art - which are found in its no eight UNESCO World Heritage sites. Relax in a cafe in the elegant Piazza del Popolo, the city's expansive central square, and later return to the ship to enjoy your final evening on board.
Early this morning, Norwegian Star will cruise back into Venice Lagoon and you'll disembark, returning to the airport to board your flight home.
Passengers aged 21 years of age and over can take advantage of the Ultimate Beverage Package on board, which entitles them to free drinks (a variety of spirits and cocktails, draught beer, wine by the glass and bottles up to the value of $15).

The transfer time from the airport to the cruise terminal is approximately 20 minutes.
We sometimes need to combine transfers to and from your cruise terminal. We always try to keep any wait to a minimum, but you may be asked to wait at the airport for up to an hour, while other incoming flights arrive, before the transfer to your cruise terminal. Similarly, we may need to transfer you back to the airport up to three hours before your flight home departs.
If you have notified us of any special requirements, please check that they have been noted and acknowledged. This is especially important with any dietary needs you may have.
The majority of our tours involve a certain amount of walking, including a short walk from the coach stop to the town, attraction or venue you're visiting. If you are bringing a wheelchair, please let us know at the time of booking so that appropriate arrangements can be made.
Occasionally, for operational reasons, we may have to change the order of the excursions on your holiday. The final day-by-day itinerary will be confirmed on your Final Travel Documents, which you will receive approximately three weeks prior to your departure.
