Your specially chartered flight will be the only 'Santa' flight to Pajala on this day, and numbers are strictly limited so that you have time to appreciate every magical moment.

On a day full of wonder, take the 'secret' path through the forest and follow the twinkling lights to Santa's log cabin, where he'll be waiting to greet each child personally. Enjoy a magical sleigh ride pulled by reindeer, a husky-drawn 'sledge safari', and a thrilling drive on a high-powered snowmobile.

A two-course lunch is served during the day. Hot drinks will also be available and thermal garments are supplied on arrival. Between activities, there will no doubt be opportunities to have fun in the snow, with toboggan rides, snowball fights and the chance to build a snowman.

Temperatures rarely rises above freezing, and can get as low as -35C. Thermal wear for all sizes is provided at Santa's Village, but we recommend that you bring a suitable hat, gloves and outerwear (preferably layers) for travel between the aircraft and the village. Footwear is also available if you do not have your own boots.

Hot meals will be served on both outbound and inbound flights. Lunch at the village will consist of soup followed by traditional Swedish meatballs or a vegetarian option. Hot berry juice will be available throughout the day. Due to the remoteness of the location we are unable to fulfil any special dietary requirements. Due to airport security, liquids must be purchased after you have passed through Passport Control.

There are no cash machines in Lapland, but British pounds may be used to purchase drinks, snacks and souvenirs. Valid credit/debit cards will be accepted.

The day trip to Lapland was very well-organised and ideal for children between 4-11yrs (our children were 6 and 10).
The activities included Reindeer Ride, Husky Ride, Skidoo Ride, Sledging, meeting Santa and lunch. Personally, we felt that there was a little too much "free time" as we were there just for the day, the more activities the better. Maybe the opportunity to do an additional activity would fill the gap.
All staff (both local and from the UK) were very helpful and friendly.
Great memories created.

The day trip to Lapland was simply amazing. The only critisim I have is that there was no atmosphere on the plane journey from the UK. I have been on a similar trip some years ago and when boarding the plane the air crew and plane were decorated with the Christmas spirit in mind and there were competitions and singing most of the journey. Whilst this did cause me some concern on this trip, when arriving at our destination any concern I had quickly disappeared. The staff who greeted us at the airport quickly changed the tone of the day. From there on, this was an amazing day. The staff could not be more helpful, the village was beautiful and the activities were fantastic. Our walk through the forest to see Santa was beautiful and my 6 year old daughter was just amazed at meeting Father Christmas. To anyone going on this trip in the future, you must go sledging, what fun for all ages!

A very well organised trip. Was impressed by the clothing arrangements, well organised, all sizes clearly displayed, and every item of warm clothing catered for, so no excuse for feeling cold.

Overall very enjoyable, aircraft was sadly not decorated as expected and carols were very poorly orchestrated. The air hostesses struggled to understand many people. However, the in flight meals were more than adequate unlike the lunch that was provided ok for adults but surely some child friendly food could have been on offer. There was no bar or many soft drinks to purchase and the mementos were almost non existant. The activities were very good and all within one area. The staff tried very hard to assist the visitors.
