At 46,000-tonnes and with a passenger complement of around 1100, Magellan retains a sense of traditional cruising and small-ship intimacy thanks to the beautiful layout and tasteful contemporary style of her public areas. Her friendly, welcoming crew and cruise staff, and a major refit in 2010 ensure her position as a thoroughly modern, bright and supremely comfortable floating home.

The greatest pleasure of a cruise holiday is the knowledge that as each day dawns, there'll be a new adventure to enjoy, a new experience to savour.
N.B. All days not listed are spent at sea enjoying the excellent facilities aboard Magellan. Please see the Full Itinerary for details. Ports marked with an asterisk will be reached by landing boat and may be inaccessible for customers with mobility difficulties.
Board Magellan in Newcastle today, and settle in to your cabin as she prepares to set sail.
Today Magellan calls at the Tayside port-city of Dundee. Explore this historic city, and perhaps visit Captain Scott's Royal Research Ship Discovery - a beautifully restored example of the days when maritime adventures were less luxurious affairs.
Spend today relaxing, and getting to know the ship, her crew and your fellow passengers.
Cruise past stunning scenery, this morning, as Magellan heads to Ulvik. Disembark here to join an optional excursion and rejoin the ship in Eidfjord this afternoon, or stay aboard and simply soak it all in.
The remote village of Flam is set in one of Sognefjord's most remote corners. From here, you might enjoy an unforgettable excursion, boarding the world-famous Flamsbana Mountain Railway, for the beautiful journey to Myrdal, before joining a coach to travel through yet more breathtaking scenery.
This morning Magellan docks in Bergen. This ancient Hanseatic city of cobbled streets and medieval houses was the birthplace of composer Edvard Grieg. Visit the vibrant harbour and fish market, stroll past the wooden warehouses of Bryggen and take the Floibanen funicular to the summit of 'Mount' Floyen.
A final day is spent at sea, no doubt reliving the memories your cruise holiday as Magellan heads for home.
Bid farewell to Magellan and all your fellow travellers, today, as you disembark at the end of your cruise.
