Itinerary

Day One

We'll leave the local area by coach early this morning for the journey to your hotel. After time to freshen up, we'll then continue to the Royal Albert Hall for this evening's 25th London Welsh Festival of Male Choirs.

Enjoy a mixture of secular, religious and traditional music, all performed with pride and passion and showcasing the harmony and versatility that are the hallmarks of male voice choir singing.

After a wonderful evening, the coach will return you to your hotel.

Day Two

After breakfast, we'll head into central London for shopping and sightseeing. Take a trip on the London Eye, visit the highly acclaimed Tate Modern, or perhaps climb the Monument for stunning views. Alternatively, remain on the coach and enjoy a short panoramic sightseeing tour past attractions including St Paul's Cathedral and the Tower of London.

We'll start our return journey during the afternoon, arriving back in the local area by mid to late evening.

Dissapointed that the choirs didn't sing more songs from the musical shows, the coach looked as it had been used for the school run, no toilet, lockers with hinges broken, and when i booked i requested a seated for my husband with leg room which he didn't have.
The Hotel made up for the coach.

Our tour manager Emry (sorry if I've spelt it wrong) was fantastic, full of enthusiasm, knowledge and very helpful, nothing was too much trouble for him. I went with my elderly mother and her two friends and thoroughly enjoyed the whole trip. Would have no hesitation on recommending Newmarket tours to friends.

It was very confusing at breakfast as we were not told in advance it was an extra £ 5 for a cooked breakfast. The continental breakfast was lacking. It would have been better if £5 was added to the cost of the break. Overall we enjoyed the trip.

Misleading information for pick up area in Lancaster. Abrupt greeting by Tour Manager which wasn't necessary at that time of the morning. Didn't like the way she spoke to the coach driver in front of passengers. Hotel breakfast area in adequate for 2 coach parties all wanting breakfast at a very similar time.

The tour guide was very knowledgeable and made the whole experience very enjoyable. i don't really like coach travel but i felt very comfortable as i felt very safe with this driver and his knowledge of the area was excellent when he was told that Park Lane was closed for a certain length of time. I intend to book another trip for next year as i found the whole experience very enjoyable.

Birkenhead Couple
Unfortunatey I had a fall in the lift on the Sunday morning ------ this was no fault of the hotel at all, --- I`d never fallen in my life before and found out that I have got osteoporosis. The hotel in Slough were absoloutely wonderful ---- also the coach driver and courier. There was someone on the scene immediately and my pulse was taken by a most pleasant member of staff.-----999 was called and an ambulance was there in no time.I was operated on , ont e Mon. afternoon and a titanium rod inserted into the femur . A week later I was taken by ambulance to the hospital t Birkenhead. After a few days there I was allowed home on Early Release. My husband was allowed to stay in the hotel for 5 nights ata reduced charge and was well looked after. I wouldn`t want to go through it again but I must say 10 out of 10 to Newmarket for their care. Thank you to all esp. the driver Carwyn Jones and the courier Jay. The cocert t the Albert Hall was absoloutely brilliant. Thanks to everyone .
