Dubrovnik, Montenegro And The Dalmatian Coast Tour Itinerary

Day One: Fly to Croatia

Fly from the UK to Dubrovnik, meet your Tour Manager, then transfer to your hotel in Brela, a coastal town on the shores of the Adriatic.

Day Two: Included Split and Trogir excursions

Visit Croatia's second-largest city, Split, on today's included tour. Wander the Old Town, visit the palace of Roman Emperor Diocletian, and browse the busy marketplace. From here, we'll continue to the fascinating island-town of Trogir, entering from the mainland through a baroque Land Gate to discover a time-warped jumble of palaces, ancient churches and hidden courtyards. After exploring, you'll return to the hotel for dinner.

Day Three: Included Krka National Park excursion

Today's included excursion takes in the tumbling waterfalls, deep gorges and clear lakes of beautiful Krka National Park, which stretches some 12 miles up a lavendar-clad valley from the harbour-town of Skradin. Stroll along wooden walkways though the forest at your own pace, and discover a park that previous customers have called "indescribably beautiful".

Day Four: Travel to Croatia via Mostar

This morning, you'll head past the River Neretva delta on the way to Bosnia-Herzegovina, and Mostar, famous for the lovingly restored medieval bridge that spans the river. After exploring this distinctive, UNESCO-listed town, boasting one of Europe's oldest continuously running markets, you'll travel to your second hotel base, close to Dubrovnik.

Day Five: Included Dubrovnik excursion

Join our guided tour of Dubrovnik, today, and you'll see the Renaissance Sponza Palace, baroque St Blaise's Church, and the Franciscan Monastery (home to Europe's oldest pharmacy). Take in the views across Dubrovnik and the blue Adriatic from the city walls, and spend a free afternoon sightseeing or shopping, before returning to the hotel for dinner.

Day Six: Included tour of Montenegro, the Bay of Kotor, Cetinje and Budva

Today, we'll cross the border into Montenegro, to visit the Bay of Kotor, southern Europe's largest fjord. You'll have time to explore the UNESCO World Heritage Site of Kotor itself, before we journey into the mountains to Cetinje. The final stop of the day is picturesque Budva, which, at over 2,500 years old, is one of the oldest settlements on the Adriatic coast. From here, we'll head back to Dubrovnik.

Day Seven: Day at leisure

Enjoy a final day's relaxation, perhaps returning to Dubrovnik for some more sightseeing and shopping, or taking a dip in the clear blue waters of the Adriatic. This evening, enjoy a farewell dinner at the hotel.

Day Eight: Fly back to the UK

Transfer the short distance to the airport and board your flight home at the end of a wonderful Croatian holiday.

Hotel transfer times

The transfer time from the airport to your hotel is approximately three hours. The return transfer is approximately 30 minutes.

Combining hotel transfers

We sometimes need to combine transfers to and from your hotel. We always try to keep any wait to a minimum, but you may be asked to wait at the airport for up to an hour, while other incoming flights arrive, before the transfer to your hotel. Similarly, we may need to transfer you back to the airport up to three hours before your flight home departs.

Special requirements

If you have notified us of any special requirements, please check that they have been noted and acknowledged. This is especially important with any dietary needs you may have.

Disabled access

The majority of our tours involve a certain amount of walking, including a short walk from the coach stop to the town, attraction or venue you're visiting. If you are bringing a wheelchair, please let us know at the time of booking so that appropriate arrangements can be made.

Itinerary changes

Occasionally, for operational reasons, we may have to change the order of the excursions on your holiday. The final day-by-day itinerary will be confirmed on your Final Travel Documents, which you will receive approximately three weeks prior to your departure.

Airport development fees

An Airport Development Fee has been introduced at a few UK Airports. You will be required to pay this charge at the following airports prior to checking in for your flight: Blackpool, Durham Tees Valley, Newquay and Norwich. The amount varies from airport to airport, but it is generally between £5 and £10 per person. Please visit the airport's website for further information.

*Low deposit of £75 per person applies to new bookings made between 7th February and 31st March 2017 (inclusive) only. This offer only applies to selected air-inclusive holidays. This offer is subject to availability and may be withdrawn at any time.

schedule was very intense perhaps a little more free time would have been welcome however I must say the cover of excursions was good the first hotel though pleasant did have many steep steps to climb especially as we were in the annexe and when it rained it proved to be a long wet walk to the main hotel

We have used Newmarket before and are very happy with value for money. This trip was very busy, the Sunday flight was very early and the trips during the week also left very early so with the loss of sleep on Saturday night and the clocks moving forward it made fora very tiring week as there was no recovery time. The first hotel was very nice as we were fit enough to walk to and from the annexe. The second hotel although clean was not as appealing due to the concrete construction and lack of sound insulation throughout, our room was affected by plumbing noises from elsewhere throughout the night.we experienced three days of rain during this holiday which lessened the feel good factor. Ivan, the Tour Manager and the coach driver were fantastic. We weeee well below the average age of the group but given the lack of infrastructure in Croatia joined a coach trip for the benefit of seeing a large area at low cost.

Overall a good value holiday as we saw a lot in 7 days. The hotels were very good apart from the noise levels coming from the dining room in the Brela hotel although we were forewarned about that.
I just wish I had gone with someone else....

Rochester Couple
We had a great week in Croatia and thoroughly enjoyed everywhere that we went. We felt that the group bonded in the first hotel as we had our own area to sit in for meals but the second hotel we could sit anywhere in the restaurant so we didn't get to chat to people as much. The food in the second hotel wasn't such a good selection as the first but on the whole considering what we paid the holiday was very good value and we haven't any complaints.
