A Christmas winter-warmer

Join us for a seasonal celebration in Jersey's charming capital, St Helier - the perfect place for a Christmas break. With its maritime atmosphere, bustling shops and beautiful surrounding countryside, it's the perfect choice for a few, festive days away.

Tour Highlights And Inclusions

  • Four nights' full-board accommodation at your chosen hotel
  • A Christmas Day lunch, buffet dinner and evening entertainment
  • Return flights to Jersey
  • Return airport-to-hotel transfers
  • One piece of hold luggage per person
  • Fully escorted by a friendly, experienced Tour Manager

Single rooms are available for a supplement

Day One

Fly to Jersey and transfer to your chosen hotel. After check-in, the rest of the day is yours to savour. Head out to do some VAT-free shopping in the pretty, compact, part-pedestrianised town, or wander down to the harbour to soak up the maritime atmosphere.

This evening, dinner will be served at the hotel.

Day Two (Christmas Eve)

This morning explore Jersey's scenic countryside on our included half-day tour. Highlights might include sweeping St Aubin's Bay with its vast tracts of sand, the lighthouse at La Corbiere and spectacular Mont Orgueil, one of Britain's best-preserved castles.

After a light lunch back at the hotel, there may be a chance to pick up some last-minute presents in St Helier - though many shops will close early today. Dinner will be served at the hotel this evening, with the chance to join locals and visitors at Midnight Mass should you wish.

Day Three (Christmas Day)

Merry Christmas! Enjoy a leisurely breakfast this morning, and later perhaps enjoy a festive stroll or even take a chilly dip at the annual Christmas morning swim at St Brelade's Bay. Christmas Lunch with all the trimmings will be served at the hotel, no doubt followed by the chance to rest and relax before a buffet dinner is served and the evening's entertainment begins.

Day Four (Boxing Day)

Today you're free to rest and relax in your hotel, or perhaps to head out for some independent sightseeing. Alternatively, join our optional Mystery Tour in the company of a local expert, which will bring to life some of the island's hidden treasures.

Lunch and dinner will served at the hotel today, and dinner will be followed once more by a programme of entertainment, rounding off a hugely enjoyable Christmas break.

Day Five

After a last opportunity for an early morning stroll, or perhaps a browse around St Helier's centre, transfer back to the airport to board your flight home.

A wonderful Christmas, the best we have had in years. But will we recognise the other guests if we met them again if they did not have a knife and fork in their hands. The food was excellent - and it felt non-stop, and all at The Pomme D'or were out just to make our stay unforgettable. Wonderful.

Romsey Couple
The hotel location was such that it would have taken my wife and I 20 minutes to walk to the town centre and even longer to the harbour. We opted for a taxi ( we are both in our 80's) which was expensive at ?7 each way.
The hotel was very comfortable and the food excellent and whilst the entertainment was OK seating to enjoy it was limited to the bar area with just three sets of tables or return to one end of the dining room. Not particularly convenient when staff are endeavouring to set up tables for breakfast. We were only able to enjoy it on one evening.
Overall we enjoyed our Christmas.

Great Carlton Louth Couple
Fly BE seating booked in advance with disability assistance in front of plane, as it was loaded last to the rear seats from front of plane the rear doors having been closed after rest of passengers had boarded necessitating fighting our way through other passengers from the front to the rear of plane with carry on luggage. Carry on luggage did not fit into very shallow upper storage compartments necessitating storing carry on luggage under seats restricting leg movement.
Similar disgraceful booking in and disability arrangements existed on return from Jersey Airport where no staff on duty necessitating self check in, despite telephoning up head office to increase weight of one case to assist disability assistance from wife instead of 2 by 20kg cases was charged ?15 extra for one case weighing 24.5 kg.
As a frequent flyer with BA I was shocked at the disability treatment received to be also told by Fly Be person at check in the Channel Islands are not a signature to the Disability Act.
This is not an extensive list of our problems with Fly BE boarding and a disgraceful stain on BA as a whole.

South sea Single traveller
Excellent hotel, would go there again. Flight from Southampton too early, would be better if did not have to get up in the middle of the night for flight.
Took two excursions, weather unfortunately not good but second excursion better due to better tour guide on the bus.

Boston Couple
Great hotel. Staff very competent and friendly
Food excellent.
Tour Manager first class.
We travelled from East Midlands which only has direct flights to Guernsey. We, therefore, had long delays waiting for onward flights to Jersey.
