Day One

Leaving the local area in the morning, we'll head towards Liverpool and our hotel. After check-in you'll have the rest of the evening free to relax and unwind before dinner is served.

Day Two

Today we take a trip into Liverpool and back in time to the rock 'n' roll days of the early 1960s. Our dedicated 'Beatles' guide will bring to life the world of Strawberry Fields and Penny Lane on a themed included coach tour.

See where John and Paul first met, where the quartet grew up, the poignant 'Eleanor Rigby' sculpture and other places connected with four of the 20th Century's most iconic figures, including a visit to the Cavern Club itself - one of Britain's most legendary music venues.

Afterwards, explore Liverpool under your own steam, or find out more about John, Paul, George and Ringo at The Beatles Story - a "magical history tour" that includes fascinating recreations of Abbey Road, the Casbah Coffee Club and even a Yellow Submarine - on this afternoon's optional excursion.

Day Three

After a leisurely breakfast we'll return to Liverpool, and board the "Ferry 'Cross the Mersey" for a whole new perspective on the city. The on-board commentary will bring the city's landmarks to life on this fascinating 50-minute cruise.

Afterwards there'll be the chance to enjoy a three-course lunch at Blake's Restaurant in the Hard Days Night Hotel, and you'll then have some free time to explore before we begin our journey home, arriving back in the local area by mid to late evening.

Aberdeen Couple
This was a decent tour, except for the time spent getting to the hotel from Aberdeen and return journey, it took 10 hours both ways, the tour of Scotland was complimentary( all the different pick up points).
The fact the hotel was an hours journey from Liverpool also added to wasted time.
I would say that Friday to Monday would be better than Friday to Sunday giving more time to explore Liverpool.

Perth Couple
It was a very friendly relaxed break. Good to sit back and enjoy the scenery. The organised trip by a local guide was very amusing and informative. The ferry on the Mersey was very enjoyable. The driver and tour guide were helpful and friendly .
Down points were not enough time and organised trips seemed a bit rushed.
The hotel was very far away from the city and it was impossible to go into town in the evening.
Overall very good trip in good company.

We enjoyed the tour but the breakfast time was far to early and dinner was far to late, tour manager and driver were lovely. All in all it was a bit rushed and not enough time for shopping.

Enjoyed this trip. Would have been improved if the tour manager had done her homework and was informant about Liverpool and the Beatles. She was also not very organised.

It was a great break, it took a while to get there due to traffic but it didn't matter as I wasn't driving! Our food order was phoned through and it was ready for when we got to the hotel. All the trips were informative, we didn't get to go on the Mersey as the ferry was out of action, it meant we left earlier to get home which was a bonus.
