Itinerary

Day One

Fly to Prague and transfer to your hotel. In the evening you can dine at the hotel, or find a restaurant or pub in the city.

Day Two

Join our included walking tour of Prague today, and watch the astronomical clock in the Old Town Square strike the hour with a procession of wooden figures.

Afterwards, explore the Old Town, and the charming former Jewish quarter, before visiting the Christmas Markets to browse at your leisure, or perhaps join our optional cruise for an excellent buffet lunch and fabulous views of the city.

Day Three

This morning you're free to explore, perhaps crossing the famous Charles Bridge to see Prague's ancient Castle District, St Vitus' Cathedral and the Royal Palace.

Alternatively join our wonderful optional tour to Dresden Christmas Market. Here a romantic blend of festive stalls sells locally produced gifts, handicrafts, decorations and food in a beautiful, traditional setting. Wander with a warming glass of gluhwein in hand, and admire the famous Christmas Pyramid and world's largest 'nut cracker' while searching for that perfect gift or souvenir.

Day Four

Transfer back to the airport for check-in and your flight home.

Further Information

Hotel transfer times

The transfer time from the airport to your hotel is approximately 45 minutes.

Combining hotel transfers

We sometimes need to combine transfers to and from your hotel. We always try to keep any wait to a minimum, but you may be asked to wait at the airport for up to an hour, while other incoming flights arrive, before the transfer to your hotel. Similarly, we may need to transfer you back to the airport up to three hours before your flight home departs.

Special requirements

If you have notified us of any special requirements, please check that they have been noted and acknowledged. This is especially important with any dietary needs you may have.

Disabled access

The majority of our tours involve a certain amount of walking, including a short walk from the coach stop to the town, attraction or venue you're visiting. If you are bringing a wheelchair, please let us know at the time of booking so that appropriate arrangements can be made.

Itinerary changes

Occasionally, for operational reasons, we may have to change the order of the excursions on your holiday. The final day-by-day itinerary will be confirmed on your Final Travel Documents, which you will receive approximately three weeks prior to your departure.

Luggage Allowance

Please note that for two people travelling together on one booking, or a single traveler, one piece of hold luggage is included. Additional hold luggage may be purchased at the time of booking at a cost of £30 per bag.

our only disappointment was that we couldn't go to Dresden. and we weren't told until
late afternoon the previous day. which meant we had done what we had wanted to do in Prague and had a day without purpose.

Prague is a beautiful place to visit . The christmas markets were not as good as germany so a visit to prague could be as enjoyable any time of the year. The hotel was very noisy until approximately early morning. The receptionn is the bar and the rep. couldn't make hims self heard above the noise to book us in on arrival.

Both pre booked tours were cancelled due to lack of numbers. Tour manager didn't manage to arrange lunch trip on boat but Czech guide did! Very sad not able to go to Dresden as advertised. Hotel great.

I think visiting Prague is a one off holiday. Didn't realize they still used their own currency, we took euros. Market in Wensleslas Square disappointing, so walked and found a much better one. A beautiful city. Enjoyed the boat trip with lunch. Recommend Jurys Inn Hotel. Plenty of restaurants to choose from. Local transport good.

Excellent hotel. Most helpful staff and we were allowed into rooms in morning which was much appreciated. Fun learning way around Prague so easy to be independent. No worries if you are vegetarian in Prague.

W every much enjoyed our holiday. Tour manager, Mick, was excellent and provided lots of helpful information. The hotel staff were very friendly and helpful, the only thing that let the hotel down slightly was that the beds were rock hard. The guide for the walking tour was excellent and informative and adjusted her walking place considerably to let some very slow walkers keep up. All in all a really good short break
