Itinerary

Day One

Leaving the local area in the early morning we head to France, arriving at our hotel in the evening.

Day Two

Travel along the Seine Valley to Giverny, once home to France's most famous artist - Claude Monet. His house, with its attractive pink facade, has been restored to its original beauty. Wander the garden paths before we continue to Rouen, lovingly restored capital of Upper Normandy with its Gothic cathedral, famous mechanical clock and monument to Joan of Arc. Stroll the narrow streets past half-timbered houses, or climb to the belfry of the Gros Horloge to enjoy wonderful views of the city.

We'll return to the hotel in the early evening.

Day Three

Today begins with an included panoramic sightseeing tour of the Parisian sights, including the Champs Elysees, Arc de Triomphe and the Eiffel Tower. Afterwards, join our optional excursion to the Montparnasse Tower, and ride one of the high-speed lifts to the 56th floor of this fascinating building to discover the incredible city views.

This evening, say goodbye to Paris on our final optional excursion to the cafe-lined streets of the Latin Quarter, which includes a romantic cruise along the Seine aboard one of the famous bateaux mouche.

Day Four

We begin our journey home after breakfast, today, arriving back in the local area by mid to late-evening.

This trip listed Giverny, Rouens and Paris. Giverny was lovely but unfortunately there had been a serious fire in Rouens so we could not go, leaving us more time for Paris. The Tour Manager (Ron) was great and hurredly arranged a few alternatives to make best use of our time. We therefore saw as much as we could under the circumstances. I shall have to visit Rouen another time.
Thank you.

Value for money it was unbeatable,my only concern was the hotel meal on arrival. The restaurant only had one waitress on duty!! The price of 22euros for the meal was a joke, the main course was nothing more than a chicken thigh all bone and blood, disgusting. The cleanliness however and standard of rooms was fantastic. The main event Monets Gardens was breathtaking.

My wife and I had both wished to return to Giverney and to visit the Picasso museum in Paris so this trip fitted the bill perfectly. In fact it greatly exceeded expectations mainly due to the excellent service we received from the tour guide, Caroline and the driver, Carlos who were both excellent.

Thoroughly enjoyed the trip, even though we were unable to get to Rouen which was quite understandable given the circumstances that weekend.

Overall an excellent holiday, including the optional trips. Well organised and executed. However, a short visit to a Cider Farm was added without consultation and presented as a fait accompli at a cost of 6 euros. A small amount I know but I object to being placed in a position where I have to go somewhere and pay for something in which I have no interest whether I like it or not.

Malvern Friends
Two very long days travelling there and back, missing ferries, was very tedious and tiring. Giverny was delightful but the time in Rouen was a waste as there wasn't a lot of time to visit museums etc. Restaurants were closing at the time we arrived and didn't re-open until we were on the verge of leaving. The day in Paris was perfect.

I would like to congratulate you on the choice of driver (Tony) and tour manager (Justin)
They are a brilliant pairing especially with the problems we had going through border controls.
I would like to thank all of your team for a great weekend
