You will require a valid passport to travel on any of our overseas holidays, but please bear in mind you may also require a passport for entry to the UK's Crown Dependencies (eg Isle of Man and Jersey). We always recommend, even if travelling within the UK on a flight, you carry your passport.
You should always check the UK's Foreign, Commonwealth and Development Office website for the most up to date passport and visa requirements. That website is: here.

Travelling outside of the European Union:
The e-visa scheme has returned and customers can now travel to India using this simple method. Details can be found https://indianvisaonline.gov.in/evisa/tvoa.html. British Citizens can use the e-visa scheme, however there are some exceptions and we recommend you check with the Travel Visa Company (detailed below). It is your responsibility to ensure you have adequate entry requirements for your destination prior to committing to your holiday.
We have partnered with the Travel Visa Company to assist you with your process. You can contact the Visa Travel Company in the following ways:
Travellers making their way to and from Europe have needed to adjust to a number of new travel changes and restrictions in a post-Brexit world. Considering holidays are meant to be a relaxing and stress-free experience, these new adjustments can be a little bit of a headache.
The European Travel Information and Authorisation System (ETIAS) is set to be introduced across 30 EU countries, currently expected to be introduced in 2025. This is a new entry and exit system (EES). The most up to date information can be found https://home-affairs.ec.europa.eu/policies/schengen-borders-and-visa/smart-borders/european-travel-information-authorisation-system_en.
ETIAS will require travelers to the European Union (now the UK is classed as a 3rd country) to apply online for an e-VISA (similar to the United States visa waiver scheme) and on the first point of entry to an EU border, additional passenger information will be collected.
You should check whether your destination(s) require a visa for entry at the border. They may not always be obvious. As two examples, for travel to the United States, an ESTA is required. For travel to India, an e-visa is required.
Travel should be stress free, and therefore we have partnered with the Travel Visa Company to assist you with all your visa requirements. You can call them on 01270 904 002 or email NewmarketHolidays@thetravelvisacompany.co.uk.
